2013 Dodge Charger now available with Daytona package

It was the year 2009 when Dodge stopped offering a Daytona package for the Charger. The 2013 model year will be available with a limited Daytona package scheduled to make an appearance this week at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Only 2,500 units are programmed to be made at an additional price of $2,995 for the R/T version or $2,500 when selecting the R/T Road & Track variant. This means that the first model has a starting price of $32,990; while the other will set you back at least $36,495. Customers will get their cars starting with Q1 2013.

These cars will be available with one of the following colors: Bright White, Daytona Blue, Pitch Black and Billet Silver. The package also brings dark accents for the front crosshair grille, along with a roof wrap, custom vinyl bonnet graphic, Daytona graphic on the rear quarter panels and a rear R/T spoiler. Regardless of the model chosen, all cars are powered by a HEMI V8 engine pumping out 370 hp.

The 2013 Dodge Charger Daytona rolls on five-spoke, 20-inch alloys and has a high-speed engine controller, Daytona Blue engine cover, paddle shifter available with sport mode, performance 3.06 rear axle ratio and performance suspension and steering systems.

Moving inside there’s bespoke black performance Nappa leather and ventilated seats for the Road & Track, while R/T version has cloth upholstery. Other highlights include a ten-speaker Beats audio system, Mopar pedal kit and an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen display.
