2013 Nissan Murano gets a minor update

Nissan has had a busy couple of weeks after launching the 2013 Sentra and Pathfinder and the Titan pickup truck, while now they have revealed a minor facelift for the Murano. The crossover is already on sale and it can be yours for $29,960 if you opt for the entry-level S version with FWD and you don’t take into account the delivery fee which will set you back an additional $825.

If you are willing to spend more than that, you could consider the the top-spec variant LE trim with AWD which costs $40,750.

For the new model year, the Japanese automaker has implemented an array of Safety Shield technologies that includes Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Moving Object Detection (MOD) for the LE Platinum Edition and SL Navigation Package. In addition, there’s also a Value Package offered for the SV models that brings a Bose sound system with dual subwoofers, nine speakers, along with a navigation system and a power liftgate. This one costs $2,270 and Nissan says that you will save $830 in comparison to buying them separately.

Customers have the possibility of choosing from two new exterior paint colors called Gun Metallic and Midnight Garnet. The 2013 Nissan Murano is offered with the same V6 3.5-liter engine that produces 260 hp and is connected to a Xtronic CVT.
