2014 Cadillac CTS starts at $46,025

Cadillac has announced the redesigned 2014 CTS has a starting price of $46,025 which makes it about $6,000 more expensive than its predecessor. This price tag includes the $925 destination charges, and the vehicle is programmed to go on sale in the United States this fall.

More luxurious, lighter and larger, the 2014 Cadillac CTS comes as standard with an 11-speaker Bose sound system, CUE infotainment system, 18-inch rims, Magnetic Ride Control and Brembo brakes. Cadillac is offering a choice of three engines to power the 2014 CTS.

The first one is a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated mill outputting 272 bhp (203 kW) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm (295 lb-ft). Next is a V6 3.6-liter naturally-aspirated delivering 321 bhp (239 kW) and 373 Nm (275 lb-ft). There’s also the more powerful V6 3.6-liter turbocharged engine with 420 bhp (313 kW) and 583 Nm (430 lb-ft) of torque. The version with this engine is known as CTS Vsport and is priced at $59,995 (including $925 destination charge).
