2014 Jeep Cherokee kicks off from $22,995

Jeep has disclosed pricing information for the 2014 Cherokee which has a starting price of $22,995, not taking into account the extra $995 destination charge.

The vehicle is scheduled to hit U.S. dealerships later this year and will be offered as standard (Cherokee Sport) with plastic body cladding, projector headlights and 17-inch steel rims. Other goodies include 5-inch Uconnect infotainment system, power windows, air conditioning and remote keyless entry. Motivation is provided by a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder mill delivering 184 bhp and 171 lb-ft.

The Cherokee Latitude begins at $24,495 and adds 17-inch alloys, fog lights, monotone exterior, tinted windows, ambient interior lightning, leather steering wheel and a folding front passenger seat featuring in-seat storage. This variant can be configured with a V6 3.2-liter Pentastar engine producing 271 bhp and 239 lb-ft.

For $27,995 you can go home with the Cherokee Limited that has a bright exterior trim, automatic headlights, 18-inch polished alloys, 8.4-inch touchscreen display, heated leather seats, digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, universal garage door opener and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.

The range-topping Cherokee Trailhawk costs $29,495 and has different bumpers and fender flares, along with underbody protection and red tow hooks. It also benefits from an off-road suspension bringing an increased ride height, together with an auxiliary transmission oil cooler and heavy-duty engine cooling system. It’s based on the Latitude model but adds digital instrument cluster, red accent stitching, cloth/leather seats, 8.4-inch infotainment system, Selec-Terrain drive mode selector and Active Drive Lock 4×4 system with a locking rear axle and low range.
