2015 Citroen C5 announced with two new engines

The 2015 Citroen C5 has made its online debut ahead of a market launch programmed for next month. Almost at the end of its life cycle, the French mid-size sedan has gained new alloy wheel designs available in sizes of 17 and 18 inches while the body can now wear an optional Moka Brown paint. These cosmetic changes are also available for the more practical wagon variant and both of them can be optionally configured with the company’s well-known silky smooth Hydractive III+ pneumatic suspension. Inside the cabin there’s a new 7-inch touchscreen display which has replaced some of the buttons and knobs to enable a less cluttered layout and offers 3D maps for the navigation system along with a hands-free function.

As far as the engine lineup is concerned, the 2015 Citroen C5 can now be configured with a BlueHDi 150 S&S manual 6-speed as well as a BlueHDi 180 S&S EAT 6-speed, with both these engines meeting Euro 6 regulations. These two units can be had with any of the versions available and according to Citroen these set new standards in terms of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in this segment while the new six-speed automatic transmission ensures a comfortable drive.
