2016 Kia K900 revealed with new V6 3.8-liter engine

The 2016 Kia K900 has made its debut in United States where it has gained a new entry-level version priced from $49,000. That makes is significantly cheaper than the base 2015MY which started at $54,500, but if you are willing to upgrade to the beefier V8 version you will have to pay $61,900. This new standard model comes with a V6 3.8-liter engine developing 311 bhp and 293 lb-ft of torque channeled to the rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. This hardware setup enables the model to return 17 mpg in the city, 26 mpg on the highway and 20 mpg in the combined cycle.

The 2016 Kia K900 can be visually distinguished by its updated front grille, modified rear bumper and the tweaked exhaust tips. Other changes are noticeable in the taillights, along with fresh 18- and 19-inch alloy wheels and more chrome trim. Kia is also adding a Smart Power Trunk function that will automatically open the trunk when the key fob is detected near the deck lid for more than 3 seconds.

Stepping inside the cabin, the 2016 Kia K900 boasts an upgraded infotainment system with a 9.2-inch screen and UVO Luxury Services. The latter will allow the owner to remotely start & stop the engine, lock & unlock the doors and manage the climate control system thanks to a smartphone UVO app.
