Underneath the hood, the 2016 Range Rover Evoque has a new aluminum-made turbodiesel TD4 engine which is 20-30 kg lighter than the motor it replaces. It will be available in two different power outputs (150 HP and 180 HP) and will be sold alongside an Si4 turbo gasoline engine rated at 240 HP, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7.6 seconds and a 217 km/h top speed.

The 2016 Range Rover Evoque facelift has also gained a trio of safety & assistance systems in the form of lane keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking and attention assist.

The vehicle will be seen in the flesh next week at the 85th edition of the Geneva Motor Show.
