350 HP Volvo V60 Polestar unleashed

There’s a new high-performance wagon coming from Sweden as Polestar has unveiled its hot Volvo V60. Its heart and soul is a mighty inline-six 3.0-liter gasoline engine delivering no less than 350 HP and a peak torque of 500 Nm. The power unit is coupled to an automatic transmission and enables the vehicle to perform the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) journey in 4.9 seconds while hitting 124 mph (200 km/h) from a standstill is achieved in 17.7 seconds. For those of you who are curious about the 50 – 74 mph (80 – 120 km/h) run, the V60 Polestar can do it in 4.7 seconds.

The 2014 Volvo V60 by Polestar has an electronically-capped top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). These numbers were achieved after the engineers mounted a newly developed twin-scroll Borg Warner turbocharger and a stainless full-flow exhaust. In addition, the high-performance wagon has a different intercooler, six-piston calipers and a fresh new set of ET53 20-inch alloys from Polestar shod in R20 245/35 tires.
