First fully revealing image of Ferrari F12 Speciale emerges onto the web

A fully revealing photo depicting the Ferrari F12 Speciale (or GTO) has hit the web in recent hours. The car’s design seems to match those two screenshots we posted a while back from an online configurator which means this is indeed a more potent version of the F12 Berlinetta. As you can see, it makes extensive use of carbon fiber on the front fenders, side skirts and quite possibly on those three gills mounted on the rear fenders which probably enhance cooling in the engine department. The rear end has a heavily modified bumper and a new trunk lid spoiler which appears to be bigger than on the current F12.

The Ferrari F12 Speciale will stick to its naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 engine but it’s being massaged by the engineers from Maranello to generate an additional 30 bhp (22 kW) so the output should stand at around 760 bhp (567 kW). In addition, it seems the latest prancing horse will go through an extensive diet and is expected to lose 200 kg (441 lbs), but that might be too much and we should wait for the officinal numbers from Ferrari.

A full online debut could happen in the following weeks and Ferrari could decide to bring the car to the Frankfurt Motor Show set for mid-September.
