OK-Chiptuning boosts BMW 1-Series M Coupe to 451 PS

The BMW 1-Series M Coupe has gone through an extensive upgrade program courtesy of OK-Chiptuning. Most of the work was put in the engine compartment where the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six has been upgraded from the series 340 PS (250 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque to no less than 451 PS (332 kW) and 714 Nm (527 lb-ft). This was done by installing an Eisenmann exhaust system, a Wagner Tuning intercooler, Sach clutch as well as custom downpipes. We don’t know how fast the high-performance coupe is now, but we remind you the stock car covers the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.9 seconds and tops out at an electronically-limited 155 mph (250 km/h).

We do know OK-Chiptuning has decided to remove the top speed limiter of this BMW 1-Series M Coupe and they also put new 20-inch Schmidt CC-Line wheels that come with 245/30 ZR20 front and 295/25 ZR20 rear tires. Other changes worth mentioning include the H&R coilover set, rear spoiler lip, carbon fiber side mirror caps and an M Performance interior package consisting of a pedal set, selector lever and steering wheel which is wrapped around in Alcantara for utmost comfort.

The tuning package is addressed to a niche market taking into account the BMW 1-Series M Coupe was a limited edition model available for only a brief amount of time.
