Mitsusbishi launches facelifted 2016 Lancer

Mitsubishi is launching a mildly facelifted 2016 Lancer in United States featuring several tweaks. The changes have been kept down to a minimum, but we do notice the new LED daytime running lights that now come standard across the entire range while the alloy wheels have received a new design. There’s also more chrome body trim and an extended body paint catalog that now includes Diamond White Pearl and Alloy Silver. Inside the cabin they’ve revised the upholstery and made improvements to the navigation system along with installing a new center console that incorporates a USB port. Moreover, the base ES model now packs more standard goodies like a FUSE hands-free Bluetooth system, color multi-information display and an automatic climate control system.

Mitsubishi has decided to carry over the engine lineup for the 2016 Lancer facelift but those that come with the continuously variable transmission now have a newly developed CVT8 that offers increased fuel efficiency and better performance.

The entry-level 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer facelift carries a starting price of $17,595 and comes as standard with a fully transferable five-year or 60,000 miles new vehicle limited warranty as well as a ten-year or 100,000 miles powertrain limited warranty, seven-year or 100,000 miles anti-corrosion perforation limited warranty and a five-year/unlimited mile roadside assistance.
