BMW M4 GTS arrives at Tokyo Motor Show

Following its online debut earlier this month, the BMW M4 GTS has been revealed in the metal at the ongoing Tokyo Motor Show. Only 700 units will ever be made and all of them are going to share an upgraded 6-cylinder 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine benefitting from water injection to boost output to 500 PS and 600 Nm of torque. Power is channeled to the rear wheels exclusively through a 7-speed M dual-clutch gearbox which grants the high-performance coupe with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 3.8 seconds and an electronically-governed top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h).

Besides packing more punch, the BMW M4 GTS also has a more aerodynamic body with a carbon fiber rear wing and benefits from an adjustable front splitter, CFRP trunk lid and a new exhaust system made from titanium. It’s riding on bespoke M lightweight alloy wheels wrapped around in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and comes with full LED headlights while at the back it has received OLED taillights.
