1969 Chevrolet CR1 Camaro revealed at SEMA by CR Supercars

CR Supercars has introduced at SEMA this week their massively upgraded 1969 CR1 Camaro. It’s based on a stock ’69 Camaro but eschews the stock engine in favor of an LS7 that generates 505 bhp and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox from Tremec. It recently went through an extensive restoration process and now has Dynacorn body panels along with a new front fascia and rear spoiler from CR Supercars. The vehicle now wears a BASF Glasurit matte blue metallic paint and comes with new door handles, hood hinges and billet taillight frames from Eddie Motorsports.

The 1969 CR1 Camaro rides on 18-inch Forgeline alloy wheels teamed up with 275/35/18 front and 335/30/18 rear BFGoodrich Rival tires and stops efficiently thanks to Wilwood’s six-piston calipers coupled to 14-inch rotors. The list of upgrades continues with a tubular a-arm front & four-link rear suspension (with adjustable coilovers) and some changes inside the cabin where there’s now a 200 mph speedometer, new gauges, Flaming River leather steering wheel, Procar Evolution seats and an eight-point roll cage for added safety.

This 1969 CR1 Camaro is a prime example of a classic body mixed up with modern underpinnings and for some people this combination is just perfect.
