Brabus tunes the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe

German tuner Brabus has taken the wraps off their new aftermarket package tailored to the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe. Currently on display at the 2015 Dubai Motor Show, the high-performance crossover coupe from Daimler has received a massive power infusion as the V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo engine now churns a whopping 700 PS (515 kW) and 960 Nm (708 lb-ft) of torque. This was possible by installing custom turbochargers, new downpipes and a sports exhaust system made from stainless steel. It also benefits from a remapped ECU as well as gold heat reflection sheathing. As a result of the added punch, the vehicle can now cover the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in just 4 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).

Those who want even more power can ask Brabus to build them a 850 6.0 Biturbo 4×4 Coupe which comes with an enlarged 6.0-liter engine and deliveries a tire-shredding 850 PS (625 kW) and 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft). This hardcore version needs 3.8 seconds for the sprint and will continue to accelerate until it hits a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h) which is actually electronically limited.

Both of them come with a carbon fiber body kit and large 23-inch forged alloys matched with an AIRMATIC air suspension module that brings the cars closer to the road by around 35 mm. Some interior cabin tweaks have also been prepared by Brabus, such as the bespoke floor mats, illuminated sill plates, aluminum door-lock pins, an alloy pedal set and an Azure Blue Mastik leather upholstery.
