Three-row Hyundai Santa FE priced from $28,350

Hyundai has announced pricing information about the three-row version of the 2013 Santa Fe. The entry-level variant will set you back $28,350 and you’ll be getting the GLS model in the front-wheel drive configuration, while the all-wheel drive model is an additional $1,750. The Limited edition in FWD guise costs $33,100, whereas its AWD sibling begins at $34,845. We should mention that none of these prices include the additional $845 destination fee. Compared to the five-seat Santa Fe Sport, the seven-seat version is 8.5 inches longer and has a 3.9 inches longer wheelbase, offering an extra 1.9 inches of legroom for the people sitting on the second row.

Just like in the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport (priced from $24,450 USD), power of the three-row variant comes from the same direct-injection 3.3-liter V6 engine outputting 290 hp (216 kW) and a maximum torque of 341 Nm (252 lb-ft). This engine is connected to a six-speed Shiftronic transmission which allows the car to return an EPA-estimated 25 mpg (9.4 liters / 100 km or 30 mpg UK) on the highway.

Hyundai mentions in the official press release that this is the most affordable standard seven-passenger crossover available on the market today.
