During this week’s Chicago Auto Show, Japanese company Toyota has unveiled the 2014 Tundra which they describe as being redesigned “inside and out”. We notice the evolved design featuring a large chromed front grille, updated tailgate with built-in spoiler, as well as squared-off fenders. Other than that, the 2014 Tundra gets new 18- and 20-inch alloys and three-piece bumpers. Five versions will be offered: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum and 1794 Edition. The latter is a more premium variant featuring GPS navigation, saddle brown leather seats and Blind Spot Monitor system with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The interior cabin comes with metallic accents, better seats and optimized controls, as well as a new instrument panel. Also important mentioning is a 3.5-inch multi-info display and the optional JBL sound system featuring no less than 12 speakers. Gearbox choices include 5- and 6-speed automatic transmissions.

In terms of engine lineup, the 2014 Toyota Tundra comes with a V6 4.0-liter with 270 hp, followed by a V6 4.6-liter producing 310 hp, along with the range-topping V8 5.7-liter power unit churning 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque.
