2014 Skoda Rapid offered with 1.6-liter TDI and revised cabin

Czech automaker Skoda has revealed some minor updates for the company’s entry-level liftback called Rapid. The 2014 Rapid is slated to go on sale on August 5 and will be optionally available with a xenon headlights kit pumping out 2,000 lumen. According to Skoda, these are cheaper compared to higher output headlights and they provide just about the same intensity so you get the best from both worlds. The interior cabin can be fitted with a three-spoke steering wheel, along with better infotainment system, updated trim and upholstery. The Active and Ambition trim levels also come with more premium lava gray dashboard.
