2014 Kia Soul priced from $14,700

Kia has published this week pricing details for the Soul which has reached its second generation. The new model can be yours from as low as $14,700, without taking into account the extra $795 destination fee. As standard, the 2014 Soul comes nicely equipped with power door locks and windows, privacy glass, four disc brakes, hill-start assist control, vehicle stability management, air conditioning, as well as support for Bluetooth, AUX and USB. For more money it can be configured with remote keyless entry, rear center armrest, center console armrest and 16-inch alloy wheels.

The mid-range Soul Plus has a starting price of $18,200 and comes along with a glossy black finish for the exterior mirrors and front upper grille. It at can be optionally ordered with additional packages like ECO, Primo, UVO eServices and Audio. The Soul Exclaim is the range-topping model that kicks off at $20,300 and gets you LED taillights, positioning lights and high-mounted stop light. It also has power-folding exterior mirrors and 18-inch rims.


Kia is offering two engines for its second-gen Soul, a 130 bhp 1.6-liter GDI and a 164 bhp 2.0-liter GDI which can be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission.
