Koenigsegg One:1 will have a 450 km/h top speed

Koenigsegg’s owner has revealed in-depth details about the company’s upcoming supercar, the One:1. It will have an impressive output of 1,400 bhp and it will be the first car to feature a true 1:1 power-to-weight ratio since Christian van Koenigsegg said other supercars which claim this power-to-weight ratio refer to the dry weight of the vehicle, whereas the One:1 will include fuel, oil and water. The firm’s computers are showing the One:1 will be the fastest car in the world as far as the 0-124 mph, 0-186 mph and 0-248 mph sprints are concerned.

Moreover, the Koenigsegg One:1 will perform the 0-248 mph (0-400 km/h) run in just 20 seconds which is a lot less than the Veyron that needs 45 seconds. The current fastest road-legal car in the world is the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition which can hit 258 mph (415 km/h) but the One:1 will do at least 280 mph (450 km/h).
