Acura has revealed earlier this week its plans to put into production the highly-anticipated NSX revival sometime around 2015. It will be manufactured at a brand new facility located in Ohio which will cost $70 million. This would have to be an 184,000 square feet plant where around 100 employees described as being “highly skilled” workers will build the supercar. All of them will be selected from Honda’s current facilities in the state. Acura also mentioned that it will provide the “perfect blend of associate craftsmanship and technology.”
The production version of the Acura NSX will be powered by a V6 mid-mounted mill and a newly developed sport hybrid super handling all wheel drive system (aka SH-AWD) which will encompass two electric motors which will motivate the front axle, while an additional motor is going to be built into the dual clutch transmission.
