More aggressive Toyota Auris heading to LA show as a Scion iM concept

Scion has released two official images of their iM concept which will premiere on November 19 at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Essentially a rebadged Toyota Auris (Euro-spec), the vehicle has received a wider and more aggressive body kit painted in what Scion is describing as “incrediblue” and there’s also a pair of slim side mirrors. We also notice some gunmetal and matte silver accents while the alloy wheel set measures 19 inches and has been matched with a lower and stiffer sports suspension which according to Scion is height adjustable.

The Scion iM concept also makes use of vented front rotors with four-piston brake calipers and has been equipped with a big centrally-mounted exhaust featuring a trapezoidal shape. Details about what’s hiding underneath the hood are not available at this point but if Scion were to make a production version based on this concept, it would like get the four-cylinder 1.8-liter naturally aspirated engine from the Toyota Corolla (US-spec) where it delivers 132 bhp (98 kW) and 126 lb-ft (170 Nm) of torque.
