The car is capable of using the real-time traffic information and navigation data to automatically change the driving mode in order to obtain the most efficient operating system based on the current conditions. It also boasts an electromechanical power steering system while the thermal management system comes with a heat pump which transfers the heat generated by the electric drive components to the interior cabin.

The Audi Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI quattro is powered by a TDI 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine working with an electric motor to provide a combined output of 373 HP and 700 Nm. It will run the 0-100 km/h sprint in 6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 225 km/h. It has a fuel consumption of only 1.7 liters / 100 km and thanks to a lithium-ion battery it can run on electric power for as much as 56 km. Audi says the overall range stands at a whopping 1,410 km while recharging the battery will take two and a half hours when using a rapid charger.

The Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI quattro is programmed to go on sale this spring at a yet undisclosed price tag.
