BMW M4 Coupe tuned by AC Schnitzer

German tuner AC Schnitzer has released an upgrade package for the BMW M4 Coupe which will be exhibited starting tomorrow at the Essen Motor Show. Work started under the hood as the TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine has been tuned to deliver an impressive 510 HP (375 kW), representing a significant bump over the series 431 HP (317 kW). Matching the added oomph is a more aggressive exterior styling highlighted by the carbon fiber bits and pieces such as the front spoiler elements, mirror covers and the rear diffuser. Also changed is the rear roof spoiler, a quad exhaust arrangement and custom alloys in sizes of up to 21 inches.

AC Schnitzer has also tweaked the interior cabin of the BMW M4 Coupe which has been customized with an aluminum cover for the iDrive controller, several gear knobs, key holder, handbrake handle, foot rest, velour floor mats and an aluminum pedal set.

Details about the performances of this tuned high-performance coupe haven’t been released but we remind you that in stock configuration the BMW M4 Coupe needs 4.3 seconds to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint when equipped with the standard six-speed manual gearbox or in 4.1 seconds with the optional seven-speed M DCT dual clutch gearbox. Both are electronically-limited at 155 mph (250 km/h) but the M Driver’s Package will raise the limiter to 174 mph (280 km/h).
