BMW shows off 4-Series Coupe with M Performance components

While many of you are waiting for the all-new M4 Coupe, until then you will have to settle with the next best thing: the 4-Series Coupe fitted with the optional M Performance parts. The car in this configuration was shown earlier this week at an event in Lisbon, Portugal where it had a striking body kit with beefier air ducts in the front bumper which also had a carbon fiber splitter attached. Other noticeable changes include a blackened chrome trim, 20-inch rims and new headlamps which have a combination of LEDs and xenon. It also comes with more masculine side sills and a carbon fiber boot deck spoiler.

This BMW 4-Series Coupe with M Performance parts also has a new rear bumper with an incorporated diffuser and air extraction ducts. There are also carbon fiber exterior mirror housings, an updated three-spoke steering wheel with lights, sport seats, M Performance floor mats and stainless steel pedals/footrest.


The 420d model gains an extra 16 bhp and 29 lb-ft which lifts output to 195 bhp and 309 lb-ft, while the 428i packs an additional 27 bhp and 29 lb-ft for a grand total of 269 bhp and 287 lb-ft. Last but not least, the 435i churns 336 bhp and 332 lb-ft, which is 34 bhp and 37 lb-ft more than the standard model.
