Chevrolet Sonic Dusk announced, arriving next week at SEMA

Chevrolet has prepared another version of its Sonic sedan that will be unveiled next week when the 2012 SEMA show starts.

It is scheduled to go into production in a similar form with a ground effects package, larger 18-inch Pearl Nicke aluminum alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, stainless steel lower window moldings, as well as a matte finish for the car’s door handle inserts, upper and lower grilles and the rear license trim.

This will be just one of the cars that Chevrolet has prepared for the 2012 SEMA event.

Inside the cabin of this Chevrolet Sonic Dust the seats have been covered by Jet Black leather with suede accents and Mojave tan inserts and accent stitching. Other than that, those two colors were also applied on the manual gearbox lever, dashboard and on the door panels. The sedan also has been equipped with Chevrolet’s MyLink infotainment system.

The car that will be shown starting with Tuesday at the SEMA show is powered by a 1.4-liter Ecotec turbocharged gasoline engine developed by General Motors that is capable of producing 138 hp. The production variant of the Sonic Dust will be available to customers with a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.
