Dacia reveals all-new Logan

Dacia was really anxious about presenting its new lineup before the Paris Motor Show so they decided to reveal not only the new Sandero but also the second generation of the Logan. This is the car that put the Romanian brand on the automotive map and helped the carmaker make a name for itself not only in Europe but in other parts of the world as well thanks to the simple and affordable recipe Renault used for the development of this four-door notchback.

It will not be sold in the United Kingdom, unlike the new aforementioned Sandero and the Duster SUV which will arrive in the beginning of 2013 when the brand will make its official debut in UK.

As you can see from these first official images, the front styling of the car is mostly shared with the Sandero, resulting in a much more attractive look in comparison to the first generation of the model which has been out since 2004. We notice that it adopts a sculpted waistline as well as more masculine wheel arches, resulting in a car that has its own appeal.

Inside the cabin we notice the similarities with the Sandero, with Dacia promising that the materials used for the interior are better than before. The car is based on the same B0 platform that Dacia has used for all of its models, a viable method for reducing production costs as much as possible.
