Honda has announced the introduction of the 2014 Civic Natural Gas in United States for a starting price of $26,640, excluding the $790 destination charges. Its heart and soul is a 4-cylinder 1.8-liter gasoline engine outputting a rather modest 110 bhp (82 kW). The 2014 model year brings some changes as the interior has been moderately updated with better trim and improved seats. Customers can now order a new range-topping version which comes with a six-speaker sound system as well as heated leather seats.
Also inside the cabin there is a new generation of the HondaLink connectivity system as well as a Display Audio system which has a 7-inch touchscreen display. The Japanese marque mentions the 2014 Civic Natural Gas has been equipped with an “expanded view” driver’s mirror.
The model is programmed to go on sale later this month.
