Honda launches 2016 Accord Coupe facelift

Honda has launched the 2016 Accord Coupe facelift in United States with a series of enhancements. The styling revisions are not that obvious but we do notice those Acura-like LED headlights fitted on the Touring model and there’s also a more aggressive front bumper together with modified taillights, new alloy wheel designs and two exclusive body paints: Deep Blue Opal and Still Night Pearl while the other seven colors are borrowed from the sedan. The interior cabin hosts a glossy black trim on the LX-S models and all of them now have a new look for the meter. The EX receives a metal-style dashboard trim and all have a standard rearview camera.

Customers will be able to order the 2016 Accord Coupe facelift with an entry-level 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 185 bhp and 181 lb-ft sent to the wheels through either a six-speed manual or a CVT. Upgrade to the V6 engine and Honda rewards you with 278 bhp and 252 lb-ft channeled to the road via a manual or six-speed automatic. The version equipped with the V6 engine and auto ‘box benefits from variable cylinder management so during low loads it can run on just three cylinders to reduce fuel consumption.

Other upgrades include a retuned electric power steering, bigger front brakes on the Touring model, as well as new Amplitude Reactive Dampers and hydraulic subframe bushings to create a silky smooth ride.
