Jaguar reveals 2016 XF interior

British automaker Jaguar has released a couple of images depicting the upcoming 2016 XF. It will be revealed in full on March 24 and as you can see it boasts an entirely different design compared to the outgoing model, adopting a more curvaceous body which should make the model more appealing than before. According to Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum, he says the next generation XF is going to be the most attractive car in its segment while the interior cabin will provide “unrivalled levels of refinement, luxury, comfort and technology.” It will get a three-spoke steering wheel, piano black accents, wraparound wood trim and piano black accents.

The 2016 XF is going to ride on the newly developed iQ[Al] platform which makes extensive use of aluminum so expect the car’s weight to go down substantially compared to the current model, even though the new one will be a bit larger to distance itself from the XE. One of the XF variants is going to have an average fuel consumption of 7 liters / 100 km (58.2 mpg US or 70 mpg UK).
