Kia KX3 concept debuts at Guangzhou show

The Kia KX3 concept has been officially revealed at the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show. It’s a taste of what’s to come in terms of a compact crossover which will be commercialized exclusively in China and produced locally by the Dongfeng Yueda Kia (DYK) joint venture. Looking like a mini Sorento, the concept has the following dimensions: 4260mm length, 1765mm width, 1630mm height and has a 2590mm wheelbase while the trunk can carry up to 400-liter worth of luggage. The styling is familiar thanks to the corporate tiger nose grille while the LED headlights freshen up the overall appearance of the high-riding model.

The production car will likely come in 2015 and will get a wide array of standard equipment but clients will be able to add many optional features at an additional cost.
