The Mazda MX-5 is now available in United Kingdom in a brand new Sport Recaro Limited Edition. It’s based upon the Sport Nav trim level with the 2.0-liter engine and has gained an exterior Brilliant Black Sports Aero kit which contains front, side and rear skirts along with a new rear spoiler while the side mirror caps have been painted in black. It also comes with bespoke 17-inch diamond cut wheels that have an engraved “MX-5” logo while on the inside it has gained an alloy pedal set, Alcantara-wrapped dashboard panel, heated Recaro seats, new floor mats and Alcantara upholstery with red stitching that has also been applied onto the gear lever, handbrake and dashboard.
As standard, the Mazda MX-5 UK-spec in this Sport Recaro Limited Edition has LED headlights and an infotainment system with support for DAB radio and built-in navigation with three years of free updates in Europe. Moreover, the car gets an air conditioning system, cruise control rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, Bose audio system and smart keyless entry. In terms of mechanicals, the little roadster comes with a strut tower bar, a limited slip differential and a sports suspension equipped with Bilstein dampers.
Mazda UK is already taking orders and they plan on making just 600 units.
