Mercedes-Benz ML-based Carlsson CML35 revealed

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML-Class has received an aftermarket program from tuning specialists Carlsson. By remapping the engine’s ECU, the output has been increased to 310 hp (228 kW) and a peak torque of 700 Nm that is available between 1,600 rpm and 2,400 rpm. The parameters of the engine can be automatically adjusted thanks to the vehicle’s C-Tronic system, based on the available conditions.

The tuner has decided to stick with the standard Airmatic suspension, but they’ve installed a special C-Tronic module that gives the possibility of adjusting the parameters with the help of an application developed for the iOS.

This newly developed module is fully capable of adjusting the ML’s suspension depending not only on the conditions of the road but also based on the SUV’s speed. Other changes over the standard model include a new body kit consisting of a revised front apron with built-in LED DRLs, wider fenders, a new front grille and a new rear apron. Inside the cabin of this Mercedes-Benz ML-Class by Carlsson there are aluminum pedals, custom illuminated door sills and Alcantara / leather upholstery.
