Mercedes E63 AMG S-Model upgraded by VATH

The German aftermarket specialists from VATH have introduced a tuning kit for the Mercedes E63 AMG S-Model wagon. In its standard configuration, the vehicle churns an already impressive 585 HP (400 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque but that hasn’t stopped VATH from further upgrading the V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo engine. Those who are willing to pay the €24,700 price tag will be able to enjoy 750 HP (551 kW) and an electronically-capped torque of 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm). The 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time hasn’t been specified but surely the car is now quicker than the stock model which needs 3.7 seconds.

What we do know that the 155 mph (250 km/h) top speed limiter has been removed and now the car will be capable of reaching a maximum speed of 220 mph (350 km/h). Other upgrades offered by VATH include suspension lowering springs which cost €1,166 and lower the Mercedes E63 AMG S-Model by 20-40mm while for an additional €1,416 there’s a carbon fiber front spoiler.

The tuner has a lot of other goodies available, including racing brake pads, three-piece forged wheels shod in 265/30 ZR20 front & 305/25 ZR20 rear tires while inside the cabin there’s a custom speedometer going to 360 km/h and priced at €1,535. A wide variety of cabin tweaks are also available and for an additional €238 you can order a carbon rear diffuser.
