Mitsubishi introduces Mirage Rockford Fosgate Edition in U.S.

Mitsubishi has announced plans to offer a Mirage Rockford Fosgate Edition in United States. It’s based on the Mirage DE, but has released additional goodies such as alloy wheels, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and a multi-function steering wheel wrapped around in leather. The main highlight is represented by a Rockford Fosgate ecoPUNCH 300-watt audio system that has two 6.5-inch secoPUNCH subwoofers as well as a 300-watt Class-D ecoPUNCH amplifier that features full digital signal processing. It also benefits from front and rear power windows, piano black trim, automatic climate control, split folding rear seat, rear spoiler, keyless entry system and body-colored door handles.

Even though it packs a lot more equipment, the Mitsubishi Rockford Fosgate Edition remains a very affordable car as pricing kicks off at just $14,945. Those of you who would rather get the 2017 Mirage should know that Mitsubishi has announced the model will make its debut next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show, so it will likely go on sale at the beginning of 2016 and chances are the five-door hatchback will be joined by a Mirage Sedan which although has been on sale in other markets for quite some time, it’s only now that United States gets it.
