Mitsubishi has disclosed plans to offer the 2015 Outlander Sport with a four-cylinder 2.4-liter naturally aspirated engine. The motor is capable of developing 168 bhp (125 kW) which makes it 20 bhp (15 kW) more powerful than on the other versions which have the 2.0-liter four-cylinder motor. It can be had in the Outlander Sport 2.4 ES variant from a starting price of $21,295. Those willing to pay more can get it in the Outlander Sport 2.4 GT version which carries a starting price of $23,595.
Opt for the more premium version of the 2015 Outlander Sport and you get power side mirrors with built-in LED turn indicators, along with a power driver’s seat, aluminum pedals as well as the possibility of ordering two packages which add goodies such as GPS navigation, panoramic glass roof and premium leather upholstery.
The 2015 Outlander Sport is sold with a fully transferable 5-year or 60,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty and a 10-year / 100,000 mile powertrain limited warranty. Moreover, it also comes with a 7-year / 100,000 mile anti-corrosion perforation limited warranty and a 5-year / unlimited mile roadside assistance benefits.
