Nissan delivers the first Juke-R

If you’d ask us what’s the most over-the-top crossover in the entire world we’d probably answer that it’s this Nissan Juke-R. The Nippon company has already delivered the first unit of this limited series model to a customer that had to pay at least 500,000 euros (approximately $652,500), which makes it an incredible 5x more expensive than the price of a brand new GT-R in Europe. While the concept had the GT-R engine with 485 hp, the production version was updated to the latest iteration of this power unit that churns no less than 545 hp, enough for a sprint time in three seconds and a top speed of 171 mph. Aside from the healthy power boost, this hotter version of the Juke has also received some styling updates via the Nissan Design Europe located in London.

We notice that it comes with a redesigned front bumper and a new carbon fiber trim for the front & rear cooling vents, as well as more protruding tailpipes and the same carbon fiber look for the rear aero diffuser. Inside the cabin it borrows the center and lower consoles of the GT-R, along with the same steering wheel.

Nissan said that both the Juke-R and the upcoming Juke NISMO – scheduled for an early 2013 release – will be featured in the Asphalt 7: heat game developed for Android and iOS-running devices.
