Renault Duster Oroch and Sandero RS make official debut

The Renault Duster Oroch and Sandero RS have been unveiled at the 2015 Buenos Aires Motor Show in Argentina. The first one is basically a pickup conversion of the Duster SUV and adopts a double-cab configuration so it has four doors and a somewhat short bed. It rides on 16-inch alloy wheels and comes with roof rails while the interior cabin is spacious enough to host up to seven people. The Renault Duster Oroch will go on sale later this year and will be sold with four-cylinder 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter engines.

As far as the Sandero RS is concerned, this was developed only for Latin America and it’s actually the first model from Renaultsport to be manufactured outside Europe. The hot supermini adopts a beefier body kit with a sportier front fascia that has LED daytime running lights and mesh grille inserts. Moving at the back, it has a faux diffuser and a spoiler mounted on the tailgate. Inside the cabin it gets a glossy black trim, silver accents and bespoke seats while alloy pedals along with red accents on the steering wheel and air vents round off the changes.

More importantly, the Sandero RS has a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine producing 145 bhp sent to the front axle through a 6-speed manual gearbox. It also benefits from stronger brakes, updated steering system and a sport-tuned suspension.
