Subaru launches limited editions of 2013 WRX and WRX STI

For this year’s edition of the SEMA event Subaru has decided to bring two limited editions of the 2013 WRX and WRX STI.

While the first one is limited to 200 units, the latter will be produced in only 100 examples.

Deliveries are expected to commence in the United States spring next year, with the pricing to be announced closer to the launch of these two special editions which will most likely sell like cupcakes given the desirability of the WRX model and the limited availability status.

As you can see from these official photos provided by Subaru, both the 2013 WRX and WRX STI will be wearing an Orange and Black custom paint scheme, consisting of a Tangerine Orange finish for the car’s body, custom wheels with a jet black look, black exterior graphics and black front fender badging and exterior mirrors.

Regarding the 265 hp WRX Special Edition, this one takes the dark interior trim from the STI version so it has a black headliner. Both of them get orange stitching on the doors, shift boot and seats, while the bespoke floor mats are also orange trimmed. As standard, the STI model comes with front fog lamps.

As most of you know, the engine of the 2013 Subaru WRXT STI is tuned to output 305 hp, making it 40 hp more powerful than the non-STI version of the WRX.
