Suzuki iV-4 debuts at IAA

Following an announcement made more than a month ago, Suzuki has taken the wraps off the iV-4 concept which represents a preview of a compact crossover that will tackle popular cars in this segment such as the Nissan Juke and Renault Captur. Suzuki describes the car as an “SUV for the present day” which rides on 20-inch rims wrapped around in 235/55 R20 tires. Wearing a unique Brilliant Turquoise Metallic paint job, the iV-4 is 4215mm long, 1850mm wide, 1665mm tall and has a 2500mm wheelbase. Suzuki says the production model is programmed to come out sometime in 2015.

When it will hit the market, the compact crossover will have the lowest CO2 emissions in this segment and will come with the firm’s four-wheel ALLGRIP system. However, we assume this setup will be available only for the more premium trim levels of the model. Suzuki mentions the car will be available with a wide array of personalization options.
