VATH tunes the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake to 846 hp

You are looking at probably the most powerful version of the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake. We remind you that in its stock configuration the car’s twin-turbo V8 5.5-liter engine develops 557 HP (410 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) for the model fitted with the optional Performance Package from AMG. If this isn’t enough for you, VATH is offering an aftermarket kit priced at 46,172 euros that will boost the engine’s output to no less than 846 HP (622 kW) and a whopping peak torque of 1,180 Nm (870 lb-ft). This power hike lifts top speed to 217 mph (350 km/h).

All these figures can be achieved after VATH installs their own cooling system, tweaks the turbochargers, optimizes engine software and installs a downpipe system. They can also provide lowering springs (20mm front and 40mm rear) and 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped around in 265/30 ZR20 tires at the front and 305/25 ZR20 rubbers for the rear axle. Carbon fiber was used to make the front spoiler, rear diffuser, along with some surfaces of the dashboard, door panels and vet surrounds.

As a final touch, VATH has installed inside the cabin of the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake a speedometer that goes all the way up to 360 km/h, along with a sports steering wheel.
