2013 Hyundai Grand Santa Fe revealed
Hyundai is preparing to launch the 2013 Grand Santa Fe in Europe and this will occur at the beginning of next month when the 2013 Geneva Motor Show kicks off. Essentially a three-row version and the European version of the U.S.-spec model, the Grand Santa Fe is 5 mm wider, 10 mm taller and 225 mm longer compared to the standard variant. It also has a 100 mm longer wheelbase which allows for a six- or even seven-seat configuration, with a cargo capacity of 607 liters.
According to the South Korean automaker, the 2013 Grand Santa Fe offers the best cargo room in its class.
European customers won’t have to pick from a long list of engines due to the reason that the 2013 Hyundai Grand Santa Fe will be sold only with a 2.2-liter diesel engine capable of outputting 145 kW (197 HP). This mill will be connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which will allow the spacious 7-seat sport utility vehicle to emit 192 g/km of CO2 emissions.
The vehicle will be available with a choice of either 18- or 19-inch alloy wheels and compared to its smaller sibling it will feature a larger rear quarter, different fog lights, revised front bumper and a bespoke front grille.
