2013 Nissan March Nismo S breaks cover
Nissan has made a surprising announcement the other day by releasing a Nismo version of the facelifted March (also sold under the Micra moniker). It comes with an aggressive body kit, 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped around in 205/45 R16 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires, along with other modifications such as a customized suspension, tweaked exhaust system and an uprated braking system. It will be sold in two versions: March Nismo and March Nismo S. The first one has the familiar 1.2-liter gasoline mill working together with the firm’s XTRONIC CVT.
Things get a lot more interesting when talking about the March Nismo S which has a 1.5-liter engine linked to a five-speed manual gearbox outputting 116 HP (85 kW) and a maximum torque of 115 lb-ft (156 Nm), thus making it 37 HP (27 kW) and 37 lb-ft (50 Nm) more powerful than the non-S model. Other goodies that these two models come with include a 220 km/h speedometer, piano black trim, custom shift knob, different pedals, bucket seats and a sport steering wheel covered in Alcantara.
