2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro bows at SEMA

Chevrolet is exhibiting at SEMA the 2014 version of the COPO Camaro which will be built in a limited edition series of just 69 units.

The first car of the batch will be auctioned off in January 2014 at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction. All the money earned are going to be donated to the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans whose main objective is to aid wounded veterans into participating in marathons.

The vehicle was developed to take part in the NHRA Stock Eliminator and Super Stock classes.

This facelifted 2014 Chevrolet COPO Camaro has gained updated front and rear bumpers, redesigned headlights and taillights, along with a new look for the front grille. Moreover, it comes with updated graphics, brand new racing seats and a new design for the alloy wheels. Customers will have the possibility of buying the car with one of the following engines: a naturally-aspirated V8 7.0-liter, a two supercharged 5.3-liter V8s, as well as two naturally-aspirated 350- and 396-cubic inch engines.
