American tuner Hennessey has released footage with its 2014 VelociRaptor which as we previously reported is based on the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. Weighing 272 kg (600 lbs) more than the standard model, the VelociRaptor comes with a significantly power boost from 411 bhp (306 kW) to 600 bhp (447 kW) from that V8 6.2-liter engine which has been fitted with a VelociRaptor 600 supercharger.
Thanks to the additional oomph, the SUV will perform the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) run in just 5.9 seconds, which means it’s 1.6s quicker in comparison to the regular F-150 SVT Raptor.
Besides increasing output of the mighty eight-cylinder engine, Hennessey can also install Brembo front brakes, larger wheel+tire combo, custom interior cabin, several electronic upgrades, along with even armoring and security systems.
The American aftermarket specialist says only 30 cars will be manufactured each year at a starting price of $149,500.
