2014 Hyundai Genesis heading to Europe
After releasing a couple of official renders earlier this week, Hyundai has announced the second generation of the Genesis will be sold in Europe, unlike the outgoing model which never made it on the old continent.
The Asian full-size luxury car will be one of Hyundai’s model that will help the brand lose the value-for-money image as the automaker wants to move upmarket and the Genesis will meet the criteria. We will probably see the car in full before the end of the year, while sales are expected to commence in the first part of 2014.
It will be offered as standard with a rear-wheel drive arrangement but Hyundai has developed an all-wheel drive setup (called HTRAC) which will be available at an additional cost. Under the hood it is likely to retain the 3.8-liter V6 and the 5.0-liter V8 which will probably be updated for the new Genesis.
