Kia has released price info for the 2014 Forte Sedan sold in the United States. The entry-level variant has a starting price of $15,900, not taking into account the additional destination charge which will set you back $800.
For this money you will be getting the base LX model which comes powered by a 4-cylinder, 1.8-liter MPI engine rated at 148 hp (110 kW) and 131 lb-ft (177 Nm) of torque, connected to a six-speed manual gearbox. You can opt for the six-speed automatic transmission but prepare to pay at least $17,400.
There’s also the EX trim starting from $19,400 which comes with a more powerful 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter GDI mill producing 173 hp (129 kW) and 154 lb-ft (208 Nm) of torque, working together with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The 2014 Kia Forte Sedan is equipped as standard with audio controls on the steering wheel, Bluetooth support, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, heated/power-folding mirrors, air conditioning, as well as power windows.
