Peugeot unveiled today the facelifted 5008 which will be exhibited in a couple of weeks at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The lightly revised people-carrier comes with Peugeot’s most recent corporate front fascia with the now familiar floating grille between the headlights. Upper-spec models have also gained chrome detailing, while 17-inch diamond Anthra Grey rims are now available. At the back we don’t see any changes, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as the pre-facelift model looked great with those Citroen C6-like taillights.
Moving inside, customers will have the possibility of opting for two 7-inch color touchscreen displays mounted in the head restraints. Ordering this package will also get you a connection console with support for audio/video equipment, as well as two Bluetooth headphones. Another important feature is the color head-up display providing important driver data.
Gasoline engines start with the base 120 bhp 1.6-liter VTi and end with a more powerful 1.6-liter THP outputting 163 bhp. If you prefer diesels, the lineup begins at 115 bhp with the 1.6-liter e-HDi FAP and ends with the 163 bhp 2.0-liter HDi FAP.
