2014 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio envisioned
Today we bring a couple of renders with a potential look for the upcoming 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio. The renders are the work of Theophilus Chin who probably has revealed a lot of the actual design the car is scheduled to get, based on the fact that Porsche hasn’t done any major design changes in the 911 lineup for literally decades. The car will probably be unveiled at next year’s Geneva Motor Show and go on sale shortly after that. Who knows, maybe Porsche is in a hurry and we’ll see the car in several months at the Frankfurt Motor Show scheduled for September.
As far as technical specifications are concerned, the new 911 Turbo Cabrio will be powered most likely from a six-cylinder, 3.8-liter turbocharged engine rated at 520 HP in the Turbo model and 560 HP in the Turbo S variant. The engine will work together with a 7-speed PDK dual clutch gearbox and we assume also with a four-wheel steering system that debuted on the GT3 model.
