2014 Renault Latitude facelift surfaces the web
The Renault Latitude is far from being a popular model but it does represent the company’s flagship model so we should talk about it whenever there’s something new on the horizon. It seems that Renault is preparing a mild facelift for the 2014 model year, based on the two official photos which have surfaced the web this week. This leak doesn’t come as a surprise since the car’s cousin, the Samsung SM5, received a similar facelift very recently. Chances are that the revised Renault Latitude will make an appearance next month at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.
What has changed? The 2014 Latitude seems to have a different front grille which is now being flanked by LED-infused headlights. Other tweaks include redesigned alloys, updated taillights and more chrome trim which makes the car look slightly more premium. On the inside we should expect an uprated infotainment system and more goodies offered as standard equipment.
The engine lineup will probably be carried over from the current Latitude, but a new 1.6-liter TCe producing 180 bhp (134 kW) will probably be added to the range.
