2015 Acura TLX starts at $30,995
The 2015 Acura TLX is available on order in the U.S. market at a starting price of $30,995, excluding the additional $895 for destination. Deliveries will commence in August and even the base model comes nicely equipped with jewel-eye LED headlights, push button ignition, hill start assist and a rearview camera. Additional goodies are available for higher-spec versions like Tech or Advance which come depending on selection with heated & ventilated front seats, 7-inch infotainment display, GPS-linked automatic climate control system, LED accent lightning, 455-watt ten-speaker Acura ELS Premium Audio system and a wide array of safety & assistance systems.
The entry-level model is motivated by a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder motor outputting 206 bhp (153 kW) and 246 Nm (182 lb-ft). For those willing to pay at least $35,220, Acura is also offering a larger 3.5-liter V6 engine generating 290 bhp (216 kW) and 361 Nm (267 lb-ft). The four-cylinder engine is mated to a dual-clutch eight-speed gearbox while the V6 is linked to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
